Bella and Bear's eyelash curler is unlike one I've ever tried before because it contains a little spring in the handle that allows you to use less pressure on your eyelashes. I suppose this is better for the health of your lashes because they aren't as crimped when you use it.

Honestly, I really wanted to love this curler, but it doesn't hold a curl at all. I have pretty long eyelashes to begin with, so curling my eyelashes always makes a noticeable difference. However, with this curler, I felt like I wasn't curling them at all! It curled my eyelashes at first, but after adding a coat of mascara, they drooped down to normal. Disappointing. Just to make sure, I curled my lashes again, with the coat of mascara on, and a few minutes later, the same thing happened.

This all happened within 15 or so minutes. I'm glad I didn't leave the house like that! I have tried much better (and cheaper) curlers and this one may be unique, but I would not use it because it doesn't work for making my lashes more dramatic.

The only thing I LOVED about this product was the handle. It's so smooth and fits perfectly in my hand. The design is really well done, I must admit; I just wish the performance was as impressive.
